El Nido Town is a charming town that transforms into a party place at night where locals and tourists congregate, where every night feels like a weekend because everyone is on vacation. Typically, most tourists wake up late in the morning while some go out on an island hopping tour and get back in town when the sun sets. The town changed over the pandemic but it is bustling with a majority of tourists coming from Europe.

We love Sava Beach Bar especially at night because of its al fresco beach vibe ambiance and the iconic wreckage that reminds tourists of the devastation from a typhoon past. Get to hang out with DJ music in a place where you can still breathe on the dance floor because of its open ambiance.

This is a quaint bar on the 2nd floor with techno beats and, sometimes, live trumpet performances. I like the packed-bar vibe where you make your way to the bar to get your drinks and dance shoulder to shoulder. Most people hop from Pangolin to Sava Beach Bar and drink/dance the night away.

If you prefer chicken burgers, Fowl Mouth is the best place to fix your Chicken Burger craving. All of these places are usually located on the main C. Hama St. of El Nido town so you just walk from one end to another. Love the chicken poppers for some pica pica while walking around town.

MAMBO POOLMOON PARTY
Mambo Beach Bar is popular during full moon nights, and the party is usually held near full moon but not exactly on the day itself so it is called poolmoon instead. Most party people head to Lio Beach after dinner and late at night to meet friends who are in El Nido. There is a small pool which people don’t actually swim in, and the party is spread throughout the Mambo Beach area.

ISLA AMARA
This is one of the signature resorts in Lio known as Balai Kalaw before, just walking distance to the Lio Beach area. Love the tropical vibe of the rooms surrounding the swimming pool where most people hangout.
Usually people spend their last night in Lio because it is easier to transfer to the airport from there. At the airport, they usually do manual check of your luggage by opening them so make sure to go to the airport earlier than usual.
